I rescued her about 3 months ago.

Once abused and homeless. She is now safe, warm, very spoiled and pampered.

But don't you tell her.

Had a few snags along the way, but managed to muddle through.
Could not make my bloglines open to public viewing using “public/dlibrarian” in the address. However it did allow viewing of my public subscriptions when I used “blog/dlibrarian”

Wonder why??

The use of RSS feeds grow more more everyday.

I feel it would be a great way for library customers to stay up to date with new services their library may provide. They could also subscribe to a particular subject area and receive info on new materials and programs in their area of choice.

But beware and not get carried away too adding to many feeds. It can be hard to keep up; often I was struck with information overload.

Movin on Up

It is funny how many times I've posted to bloglines; and it never once occurred to me to learn how to create my own blog.

Back in 1974 when I became a librarian, the closest thing to a blog was the editorial section of a newspaper.

Well here it is!!
